Springvale students are raising awareness for the Rohingya Muslims suffering in Myanmar.
Middle school students at Minaret College held an awareness campaign on Friday 17 November.
It was the first project students in the school’s Be The Change Committee initiated.
Committee members distributed purple-coloured ribbons to secondary school students and staff.
Female students were asked to wear purple-coloured scarves instead of their usual white ones to further spread the message.
Myanmar’s military has driven more than 620,000 Rohingya Muslims out of the country in a move the United Nations has labelled ethnic cleansing.
